CREDAI WESTERN U.P

Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex organization representing more than 11,940 real estate developers spread across 23 states and 170 city chapters. Since its inception in the year 1999, CREDAI has worked consistently to improve the standards of fairness, transparency and ethical behavior in the real estate sector. A code of conduct in this regard has also been signed by all our members. We believe that self-regulation by the Industry is the first tier of regulation which can save precious time and money. Based on this, Consumer Grievance Redressal Forums have been established at all levels in CREDAI. CREDAI WESTERN U.P. is the WESTERN U.P. Chapter of CREDAI NCR primarily covering region Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway. All leading developers of the region are its member.

FUNCTIONS

The major function of CREDAI WESTERN U.P is media interface / interaction on behalf of Real Estate Industry in WESTERN U.P. region and to act as a bridge between the member Developers and the Government so that issues faced by the Real Estate member Developers on daily basis could be taken-up with the Government. Secondly, the key members / Office Bearers, CREDAI WESTERN U.P helps the Government in finalizing the policy documents by submitting required inputs on different bills etc. related to Real Estate Industry. Thirdly, it provides a platform to Real Estate Developers wherein every member developer gets support of a peer group which is committed to working in the interests of the real estate industry as a whole, by which different issues of each and every individual member developer ranging from taxation to policy gets addressed. Fourthly, News related to Real Estate of the Country is being disseminated among member developers on daily basis.

CSR ACTIVITY

Facilitated help during Nepal Earthquake to impacted households and community shelters by donating solar lanterns.

CREDAI undertook the installation of CCTV cameras in Sector 18 market for Security of businesses and well-being of general public.

When Corona Pandemic struck in 2020 and livelihood and economic condition of general public was severely impacted, CREDAI helped general public by distributing food packets in Noida and Greater Noida region and certain other CSR initiatives are also undertaken as per the advice of Government / Authorities during Covid 19 Lockdown.

CODE OF CONDUCT

CREDAI also has a common Code of Conduct which is being followed by all its members. This Code of Conduct was earlier drafted with an ultimate aim of transparency between Member Developers / Builders and their respective Customers.

The fundamental objectives of the said Code of Conduct are as follows:

(i) To promote the high standard of real estate development and construction activities so as to promote transparency in system;

(ii) To maintain the honor and dignity of Developers in general and to secure a spirit of friendly co-operation between the Developers and their customers;

(iii) To establish honorable and fair dealing of the Developers with their customers;

(iv) To promote brotherhood amongst the members of the Association;

(v) To ensure that Developers discharge their responsibilities to the Society in a fair, transparent and efficient manner.

For the aforesaid objectives the members of the CREDAI WESTERN U.P have adopted the common Code of Conduct, both in letter and spirit.
